And yet when you say it, ...I felt exactly the same. And yet when you say it, I want to say "but you shouldn't feel like that" though I wouldn't listen to anyone who said that to me! As a Mum you do the absolute best you can for your children, but there does come a point where you have to think of yourself I think. A miserable mother that's driven herself insane trying to stick out Breastfeeding because she feels like she should doesn't benefit a newborn does it? Funny, at the time I made my decision to switch I couldn't see the bigger picture in the slightest. The pain just got a bit too much for me each time and as supportive my other half was I just had to switch. I felt really guilty though for doing so as if I was a bad mum for not lasting longer or for managing it properly.
Oddly it never hurt while there was a midwife or in the hospital. They must have magic bubbles around them

Rhiannon xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08309053407798253120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6146496770248548130.post-50630740777149984472013-02-12T22:06:35.844+00:002013-02-12T22:06:35.844+00:00Hi Kimberly, thank you! Because saying that feeding your child is comparable to publicly bonking in a meeting is going to get most people to snap I think. Crazy old duffer! I wonder how many "youngsters" that old gal tries to trick with that conversation...?

xAbihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05138263800095955111noreply@blogger.com
